Bridges have navigable and non-navigable passages, and non-navigable passages prohibit ships from navigating, so many bridges have implemented the installation of non-navigable passage blocking facilities, and built a safety line of defense on both sides of the bridge, thereby greatly improving the defense against out-of-control ships colliding with bridges.

Ocean Defender cooperates with the steel structure bracket to form a group of floating units, and each floating unit is connected by a blocking net to build a security defense line. This technology is independently developed and designed by Nanhai Company, and has applied for a number of patented technologies.

In the project, Ocean Defender is an important buoyancy-providing device, which is a customized product and requires at least 10 years of service life, anti-oxidation, anti-ultraviolet, anti-aging, anti-acid and alkali corrosion, anti-corrosion of marine organisms and other important characteristics.
